outboarder. A company or vendor that saves the high cost of exhibiting at a trade show by renting a suite in a nearby hotel in which to hold meetings and conduct product demonstrations. The practice is frowned upon and outboarders are sometimes evicted from their suites at the request of the trade show organizers. Hence, outboarding.
